Sunday skills at Silk Mills

This is our third session back since lockdown where we will be implementing the most recent British Cycling guidance on resuming club activities.  This has recently changed and allows us to work in groups of up to 30.  Therefore we will no longer require you to go to individual group meeting points and we can meet as a larger group of up to 30 to the front building in the centre of the park and ride.  We still ask you to keep 2 metres apart at the meeting point and throughout the session.

This event is open to both existing club members and new members.  We are limited on numbers to a maximum of 24 riders and will be coaching in 3 groups of up to 8 riders

We will be closing online bookings at 11pm on Friday 7th August.

If you are not booked in, you will not be able to attend the session.

You will need to bring your own :

• bike (we suggest tyres that are suitable for riding on grass)
• helmet
• water bottle
• snack
• £2 session fee in a named envelope. Exact change only as we will not be able to give any change.

We will be unable to share or lend any equipment during this session.

In line with current government guidelines, masks or face coverings are not required if social distancing is maintained. At this stage using face masks or coverings is a personal choice but it should not restrict breathing.  Riders could use a buff around their neck which is easy to remove.

We are asking parents to undertake a comprehensive bike check prior to arrival at the session, as coaches will be unable to make any adjustments, in line with current guidance.

Parents - if you are staying during the session, please can we remind you of the social distancing guidelines of 2 metres and you will be required to view from a 'spectators' area of no more than 6 people. You will not be able to join the coaching groups.

If you or anyone in your household is showing any symptoms of Covid-19 prior to the event, you must not attend. Following an event, should any riders develop or show any symptons of Covid-19, we ask you to contact the club coaches for Track and Trace purposes.

REGISTERING FOR AN EVENT. 1. login to this website.  2. select event  3. click on 'get tickets' 4. change 'Qty' from zero to one (or more if several members of family) 5. go to 'checkout' 6. enter emergency and pick up details 7. proceed to payment (tickets are free)  8. 'buyer info' may be requested if you have not logged in. 9. submit order - no need to print tickets
