Lots of pedestrians and dog walkers. May have to walk this section if busy. Give way to pedestrians. 2. Car park at start of Huish Drove has paving which can be difficult for less experienced riders 3. Huish Drove is a rough track with lots of puddles. Riders could get cold if they get soaked (mention this just before Drove) 4. Rail track is slightly less rough 5. There is a small section of road through Westover trading estate which walking  should be considered 5. Walk over pedestrian bridge after cafe 6. River path - consider walking if busy.

We have two rides on Sunday.  One for younger riders which will follow off-highway cycle paths, and one for older riders which will be on quiet roads.  We plan to all start in the same place and meet up at a halfway point for a drink and snack.  We then head off in our separate directions before all meeting up again at the end.  Please note the earlier 9am start and 10:30 finish (the roads are quieter at this time). The younger group is suitable for 5+ years and the older group should have Bikeabilty (or ride to that standard). Parents are welcome to join either ride. Following the first 2 rounds of cyclocross I'm running a further taster session, skills and fun off-road ride around Longrun Meadow.  You don't have to do cyclocross to come along as many of the skills are transferable to all types of riding. Open to all age groups and this will be a gentle ride (max 3 miles) with lots of stops to practice some skills on the features around longrun meadow.  New members are welcome and it is suggested that younger ones may want to be acompanied buy a parent/guardian.
