URGENT UPDATE - Saturday 12:45pm   Slight change of plan for tomorrow. As the Great Exmmor Ride is taking place tomorrow and starting at the Park and Ride, the barriers are going to be up and there is potential for cars to be moving around. We can’t do the normal time trial circuit and therefore we will have to move into Longrun where we can do some grass track skills and races/circuits. Therefore you will need bikes/tyres that’s are suitable for grass. Please don’t bring narrow road tyres. If you don’t have access to anything else, please let me know as I may be able to find a suitable bike for you to borrow. Sorry for the short notice, but we have only just found out. The council had told us that it was clear during September and October but this must have been booked after that.   A slightly different session this Sunday when we will be restarting our time trial event with rider options of completing either a 3km, 5km or 7km time trial.  If you have been to one of our time trials before, you can see if you can beat your previous time(s).  If it's your first, then you can set yourself a time to beat in the future.  It's a bit like parkrun, but on bikes. There will also be a coached activity before the time trial to learn the circuit and practice some skills. This event is open to both existing club members and new members.   We will be closing online bookings at 18.00 on Sat 11th September. If you are not booked in, you will not be able to attend the session. Sign in is at 10.20am and as soon as you are signed in we will ask you to start warming up and be ready to ride at 10.30.
