Following a couple of false starts in March I am going to try to re-run our time trial this Sunday We will have a time trial where riders go round a 1km course. Distances available are 5, 7, 9 or 11km The number of laps depends on age. Following the time trial there will be optional fun races including italian pursuit and elimination races.    This event is open to both existing club members and new members.   We will be closing online bookings at 22.00 on Sat 30th April. If you are not booked in, you will not be able to attend the session. Sign in is at 10.20am and as soon as you are signed in we will ask you to start warming up and be ready to ride at 10.30. You will need to bring your own : bike  helmet water bottle snack (without nuts) £2.50 session fee to pay on the day We are asking parents to undertake a comprehensive bike check prior to arrival at the session, as coaches will be unable to make any adjustments. Parents are welcome to stay during the session If you or anyone in your household is showing any symptoms of Covid-19 prior to the event, you must not attend. Following an event, should any riders develop or show any symptons of Covid-19, we ask you to contact the club coaches for Track and Trace purposes. MEET AT CASTLE GREEN IN FRONT OF COUNTY MUSEUM Monday evening 18.15 hrs  (please note no skills session at Silk Mills this weekend due half marathon) Ride from Castle Green to Goodland Gardens, then a short walk to through St James St and Coal Orchard, then a leisurely ride along River Tone towards Hankridge. Cycle path to Swingbridge then return via canal and back to the museum. If you are not booked in, you will not be able to attend the session. On sunday we will be have our usual skills session but will have 1 hour of coaching and then 30 minutes of racing/fun activities.  Skills will be looking at ascending and descending techniques as the fifth part of a series of six cylcocross skills sessions.    This event is open to both existing club members and new members.   We will be closing online bookings at 22.00 on Sat 22nd January. On Sunday we will have a time trial where riders go round a 1km course. The weather is due to be cold so we will try to keep riders moving as much as possible.  Please wear thin layers (lots of them) and long fingered gloves are essential. Keeping your feet warm will also help. The number of laps depends on age. Following the time trial younger and less experienced riders will have some fun activities and practice some skills. The older riders will do some group riding exercises followed by an Italian pursuit.    This event is open to both existing club members and new members.   We will be closing online bookings at 22.00 on Sat 8th December. If you are not booked in, you will not be able to attend the session. Sign in is at 10.20am and as soon as you are signed in we will ask you to start warming up and be ready to ride at 10.30.
