On Sunday I'm going to try something a little bit different and do some skills that can be used for our upcoming evening mountain bike and trail rides. This is going to include bunny hops, a few drop-offs, small jumps and getting the see-saw out.  It is only going to be suitable for mountain bikes or hybrid type bikes.  It's not going to work with road bikes so please leave these at home. On Sunday we have a special cyclocross skills session that will be in Longrun Meadow, Taunton.  We will meet at the open barn at the centre of Longrun Meadow and you can park along Longrun Lane (public car park has a height barrier so be careful if you have a bike on the roof). Skills will be looking at ascending and descending techniques and some moving mounts/dismounts.  For the older ones we will also look at some bike lifts to get over the hurdles.
